The Careers—Love might be a strong word, but nevertheless I actually do like the Careers. From the moment they are born, these kids are told that competing and winning in the Hunger Games will bring pride to their district, and this is basically their lives goal; to be killers. They don’t know of anything else, rather than training and then volunteering at the reaping. All of their lives, every year, they have been watching the games KNOWING that one day they were going to be there, and they have a high chance of getting killed. I don’t know, there is just something about them that I like.
